Suspects in possession of artefacts arrested — PSD spokesperson

AMMAN — Preventive Security Department personnel arrested three suspects found in possession of artefacts in Amman, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Wednesday.
The PSD's spokesperson said that the agents received a tip-off about the suspects, who were offering a collection of artefacts for sale for JD200,000. The agents arrested them while they were in their car, where they found the ancient pieces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
An investigation is ongoing and the recovered artefacts will be sent to the concerned authorities, the spokesperson added.
