Municipalities to open Friday to accept resignation letters ahead of elections

AMMAN — Municipal Affairs Minister Walid Masri asked heads of municipal committees to work on Friday in all municipalities throughout the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The decision aims to facilitate the submission of resignation letters for those wishing to run in the upcoming municipal elections. Friday, June 2, is the last available day to submit resignations, Petra added.
