Tafileh Municipality Committee submits resignation letter

AMMAN — The president and members of Greater Tafileh Municipality Committee on Monday submitted their resignation letters to the municipal affairs minister, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The resignations came in protest of the “financial and administrative stituation” at the munciplaity, according to the committee.
Hisham Khalafat, deputy president of the committee, said that the letter sent to the minister included the reasons for the resignations, chief among which is the alleged inability of the committee to provide “decent” services due to the “deteriorating” financial and administrative situation.
