Cabinet appoints new Jordan Maritime Commission director general

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday appointed Muhammad Salman as director general of the Jordan Maritime Commission. Salman was appointed after receiving the highest results among all candidates who were interviewed to fill the vacancy by a ministerial committee designated to appoint leading posts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The panel highlighted the “transparent procedures” it adopted for appointing Salman, who scored 70.4 per cent out of 100, followed by Bilal Khalafat, who scored 68.55 per cent.
