Man arrested for allegedly selling fake COVID-19 test certificates

AMMAN — Preventive Security Department personnel arrested a man over charges of forging COVID-19 test results and selling fake certificates to people of different nationalities to be used to bypass travel requirements.
The Public Security Directorate spokesperson on Thursday said that the agents received a tip-off about a person who sells counterfeit test results.
He added that the suspect had admitted to forging and selling fake coronavirus negative certificates, the Jordan news Agency Petra, reported.
