Suspect arrested for dealing with fake artefacts

AMMAN — The Preventive Security Department has arrested a suspect in possession of a firearm and a set of counterfeit artefacts that he has allegedly used to con people in Amman.
The Public Security Department on Tuesday said that the agents received a tip-off on the whereabouts of the suspect, who was found in his house in the capital, and arrested him there, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
After searching the house, the police found a large collection of fake artefacts with no significant historical or any other value, in addition to a firearm and ammunition.
