AMMAN — Postponement of parliamentary elections, slated for November 10, is tied to the epidemiological situation and decisions related to imposing a comprehensive curfew, Independent Election Commission’s (IEC) Chairman Khaled Kalaldeh said on Wednesday.
During a meeting with a delegation from the Civil Society Organisations Coordinating Committee (HIMAM), Kalaldeh said that if the elections are postponed, procedures would be suspended, only to be completed after setting a new date, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
