Prince Mired meets with election commission chief

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of People with Disabilities, on Sunday reviewed the Independent Election Commission’s (IEC) measures to facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in the upcoming local elections.
During a meeting with IEC’s Commissioner Khaled Kalaldeh, the prince discussed the commission’s preparations for the municipal and local council elections slated for August 15, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Kaladeh stressed the commission’s keenness on facilitating the participation of people with disabilities during the election.
