Three dead, two injured in road accidents

AMMAN — Three people died and two were injured in road accidents in Maan and Balqa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In Maan, some 220km south of Amman, a man died and another was injured in a two-truck collision on Thursday, Petra, quoted Maan Hospital Director Walid Al Rowad as saying.
The two were taken to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead on arrival and the second was listed in fair condition.
In Balqa, some 35km northwest of Amman, two people died and another was injured on Wednesday evening when their vehicle overturned, Petra reported on Thursday. Balqa Civil Defence Department personnel administered first aid to the injured man and took him to the University of Jordan Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition.
