Man dies from electrocution in Maan

AMMAN — A 20-year-old man died on Friday from electrocution in Maan, 220km south of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported quoting Maan’s Hospital Director Walid Rowad as saying.
The hospital administered first aid to the man, who died shortly after being transferred to the hospital, Rowad said, adding that an autopsy was conducted.
Also on Friday, five persons were injured in a traffic accident in Zarqa, 22km northeast of Amman, according to a statement from the Civil Defence Department (CDD). CDD cadres transferred the injured to Prince Feisal Hospital, where they were reported to be in fair condition.
