Thneibat urges adherence to health and safety regulations in schools

AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Sunday called for regulating measures governing the work of school canteens and their adherence to health standards.
The minister urged education departments across Jordan to make sure schools abide by the regulations, especially when it comes to upholding the ban on items prohibited in school canteens.
Thneibat noted that the ministry’s inspectors will carry out field visits to the canteens to ensure that their products are in line with health and safety standards.
