AMMAN — Police on Sunday announced the arrest of a man who allegedly shot and killed a man in Sweileh over the weekend, official sources said.
The victim, in his early 40s, was shot by the suspect who fled the area, Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said.
"We formed a special team that was tasked with locating the suspect," Sartawi told The Jordan Times.
The police official added that the suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting incident.
"Our teams managed to locate his whereabouts and he was arrested without any major incident," Sartawi added.
