Social Development Ministry receives JD49,814 in donations for Luweibdeh victims

AMMAN — The Social Development Ministry on Monday announced that it has received a total of JD49,814 in donations for the people affected by the collapsed building in Jabal Luweibdeh.
In a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the ministry said that the donation process is ongoing, noting that it received JD33,314 through e-Fawateer.com.
Social Development Minister Ayman Mufleh said that the full amount of the donations will be spent on residents of the building, noting that the ministry will cover the residents' accommodation until their conditions are stable.
