Public shows support for Health Ministry by donating JD3.6m in 6 days

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health has received a total of JD3,600,000 in donations to support its efforts in the face of COVID-19 from 12,600 users of eFAWATEERCOM electronic bill payment application.

Nasser Saleh, chairman of the board of directors of MadfooaatCom, which runs eFAWATEERCOM, told the Jordan News Agency, Petra on Monday that the donation service to the Ministry of Health through eFAWATEERCOM collected JD3,600,00 by the sixth day of its launch, as 12,600 users made donations by Monday at 11am.

Saleh explained that the donations are made by entering the eFAWATEERCOM application or website and paying from a bank account or card. He pointed out that the anti-coronavirus donation service is available on bank websites and mobile e-wallets.
