Senate president receives anti-corruption commission report

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Sunday received the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission's report of 2016 from its Chairman Mohammad Allaf, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The report, stipulated by the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law (8/A/16), will also be referred to the King, the Council of Ministers and the Lower House.
During his meeting with Allaf, Fayez discussed the role of the commission in combating financial and administrative corruption, stressing the Senate's support to the commission in the legislative field.
For his part, Allaf thanked the Senate for its role in assisting the commission, emphaising its strategy is based on preventing corruption before it occurs.
