Higher Education Ministry, Anti-Corruption Commission sign memo

AMMAN — Higher Education Minister Adel Tweisi on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission Mohammed Allaf, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The memo states that the two parties must join forces and collaborate to implement the “best strategy” to raise awareness and guarantee integrity, transparency and efforts to counter corruption.
Under the memo, the ministry is studying the possibility of adding a university course for all academic majors on the principles of integrity, transparency and the importance of fighting corruption, as well as the commission’s role in this regard.
