AMMAN — HRH Princess Rajwa Bint Ali on Sunday at the Zaha Cultural Centre honoured cancer survivors on Mother’s Day. Princess Rajwa congratulated women and mothers who fought and overcame cancer through their belief and patience, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
She said that these women’s determination to return home safe allowed them to face the most difficult circumstances.
Centre Director Rania Sbeih said that choosing cancer survivors to be honoured for this year was due to several factors, including raising awareness about cancer, focusing on early detection and shedding light on women’s experiences in fighting cancer.
