AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre, graduated 140 students in the foundation’s back-to-school programme.
The programme’s students were able to complete the school year 2018-2019 without interruption despite receiving treatment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the ceremony, HRH Princess Ghida said: “I would like to congratulate all graduates who... succeeded despite the suffering they face. You have proven that cancer cannot be an obstacle before ambition.”
She then presented the certificates to the graduates. The programme has this year seen an increase in the number of beneficiaries, Petra reported, including those with special needs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, with support of the Arab Bank.
