Cancer foundation celebrates young patients’ graduation

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the board of trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), on Tuesday attended a ceremony to celebrate the graduation of 140 children being treated at the King Hussein Cancer Centre.
Through the foundation’s back to school programme, the children were able to continue their education in the current academic year while receiving treatment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Two teachers from the Education Ministry were involved in the programme. At the ceremony, attended by HH Princess Dina Mired, KHCF director general, Princess Ghida distributed gifts and certificates to the children.
