AMMAN — A specialised medical team at Jordan Field Hospital "Nablus/1" successfully performed a syndactyly surgery for a one-year and four-month-old girl suffering from congenital fusion of fingers in both hands. The medical team conducted the surgery on the girl's right hand, where the finger was completely fused with the bone, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The procedure took approximately two and a half hours, and the child was discharged in good health on the same day. The field hospital in Nablus continues to provide medical and therapeutic services, as another operation to separate the fusion in the girl's left hand is scheduled in the coming weeks.
