Jordanian field hospital in Nablus starts operating

AMMAN — Jordan Field Hospital "Nablus/1" started its operations on Thursday, providing medical treatment to patients in the occupied West Bank's city.  

The hospital commander said that the hospital staff is working around the clock with all available resources to provide high-quality service for the Palestinians in the West bank's city of Nablus, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.  

He said that Nablus/1 hospital received in its first day 33 cases, including minor surgeries, chronic diseases, lab tests and emergency cases. 

The people of Nablus expressed their appreciation to Jordan's support and its relentless efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah to provide humanitarian assistance. 

They have also thanked the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army for their services, according to Petra. 

The field hospital is equipped with a medical team of various specialties and consisted of seven trailers, two operation rooms, two intensive care units and 15 beds, in addition to a laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray lab, dentist clinic and sterilization room.
