Khasawneh pays tribute to former minister Shakhanbeh

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, on Monday, mourned the passing of Sharari Kasab Al Shakhanbeh, the former minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Agriculture. Khasawneh paid tribute to Shakhanbeh’s efforts in public service and expressed condolences to his family.
Shakhanbeh served as the minister of Parliamentary Affairs in 2012 and the minister of Agriculture from 2004 to 2005. He was also a member of the 28th Senate and the president of the Jordanian Farmers Union for two terms.
He was honoured with a number of orders, including the Order of Al Istiqlal (Independence) of the Second Degree, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
