Jordanian peacekeeping force returns from Mali

AMMAN — The rapid deployment force Mali 2, a Jordanian peacekeeping contingent, returned home on Thursday after completing its mission in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
The armed forces have provided services in the Gao airport in northern Mali as part of the peacekeeping mission since 2018.The rapid deployment force Mali 3, the last batch of Jordanian peacekeeping forces, left the Kingdom on Wednesday to participate in MINUSMA, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
