Jordan-France committee receives French delegation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Jordan-France Friendship Committee with the House of Appointed Senate Haifa Najjar on Monday reaffirmed the vitality of the relationship between the two countries on all levels, political and economic.
Najjar briefed the visiting delegation of French senators on the role of the appointed Senate and its committees, and voiced appreciation of the visit and the support it shows for the ties binding the two countries in friendship.
According to the statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the senator also highlighted Jordan’s humanitarian role and unwavering effort, through hosting refugees from different parts of the region.
The president of the French delegation praised Jordan’s endeavours and dedication to the realisation of peace and the countering of terrorism and extremism, locally, regionally and internationally.
