French-Jordanian Friendship Committee meets Senate members

AMMAN — A delegation of the French Senate’s French-Jordanian Friendship Committee, headed by Senator Christine Kamerman, on Sunday met with members of the Senate’s Jordanian-French friendship and education committees.
Head of the Jordanian-French Friendship Committee Senator Haifa Najjar said that although Jordan is a small country in terms of area, it has great potential and ambition, noting that the Kingdom has “overcome challenges in a turmoil-hit region”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Head of the Senate’s Education Committee Senator Mohammad Hamdan expressed Jordan’s eagerness to enhance cultural and educational relations with France, calling on the French delegates to expand ties in relevant fields.
Kamerman commended Jordan’s efforts in facing regional challenges, while also voicing France’s hopes to establish a French technical school and a university in Jordan.
