AMMAN — The health problem that had befallen His Majesty King Abdullah “has not affected his intensive follow up on the Jerusalem issue through local and international contacts with heads of state and politicians,” as he said he is “fine as long as Jerusalem, with its Islamic and Christian shrines, is a pillar of our diplomacy,” Secretary General of the Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs (RCJA) Abdullah Kanaan said on Wednesday.
In press remarks, Kanaan said that the Royal directives focused on informing the global public opinion about Israeli provocations and violations, notably breaking into Al Aqsa Mosque and assaulting worshippers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jerusalem is a "red-line" for the RCJA, he said, expressing appreciation for His Majesty’s stance.
