Human rights commissioner general meets South Korean ambassador

AMMAN — Commissioner General for Human Rights Aladdin Armouti on Wednesday met with South Korean Ambassador in Jordan Lee Jae-wan and discussed means to enhance human rights cooperation between the countries.
Armouti reviewed the role of the National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) in protecting and enhancing human rights through receiving complaints on violations that any person, whether a citizen or resident, in the Kingdom might suffer from, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Armouti also went over the strategic plan of the centre for the years 2021-2023 that was recently launched in the presence of several representatives of diplomatic missions and civil society organisations.
The South Korean diplomat voiced interest in enhancing cooperation with the NCHR in a way that contributes to serving and boosting human rights.
