AMMAN — An official source on Wednesday denied claims circulating on social media, claiming that the Jordanian ambassador in Ramallah had been targeted in an attack.
Israeli occupation forces had opened fire near Jenin while a diplomatic delegation comprising more than 25 Arab and European ambassadors, including Jordan's envoy, were visiting the region with the city's governor, the source said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The source confirmed that Ambassador Issam Bdour remains at his post and continues to carry out his duties at the Jordanian embassy in Ramallah.
