Jordan, South Korea discuss cooperation in water sector

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abul Saud on Monday met with Korean Ambassador to Jordan Lee Jae-wan and discussed means to boost cooperation in the water sector.
The talks covered vital water projects and training programmes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Abul Saud reviewed the projects that have been implemented with support from Seoul, specifically the $100 million sewage plant in the south of Jordan.
For his part, the Korean ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to support the Kingdom’s water sector.
