German officials briefed on local start-up’s business model

AMMAN — The business development model for a start-up plumbing company founded by six Jordanian trainees was presented to German officials on Wednesday.
The model was presented to senior officials of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a German international development company, in an event organised by Zain Jordan and Training for Water and Energy Efficiency Development (TWEED), GIZ said in a statement.
The trainees founded the plumbing company Jahzoon Lelseyaneh, which in English means ready to carryout maintenance, after a two-week training workshop organised by TWEED and GIZ on behalf of the German government, the Ministry of Water and the Vocational Training Corporation, GIZ said.
