Five killed, five injured in collisions across Jordan

AMMAN — Four people on Thursday killed in a collision between a truck and a vehicle in Zarqa, 22km northeast of Amman.
The Civil Defence Department’s (CDD) media office said that emergency response personnel tended to the victims and transported them to Tutanji Hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The CDD also on Thursday dealt with a traffic accident that took place on the Desert Highway, killing one person and injuring five others.
The rescue and ambulance cadres evacuated the deceased, administered first aid to the injured and then transferred them to the Prince Zaid Military Hospital.
The injured were in moderate conditions except for one who was listed critical, the CDD media office said.
