Desert highway collision kills one, injures another

AMMAN — One died and another was injured on Thursday in a collision between a pickup truck and a lorry on the desert highway, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Emergency response personnel with the Civil Defence Department (CDD) evacuated the deceased and administered first aid to the injured and then transferred them to the Karak government hospital. The injured was listed in a fair condition, the CDD media office said.
