Firefighters put off fire in Madaba

AMMAN — Firefighters on Wednesday extinguished a fire that erupted over 50 dunums of wheat in Madaba, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement.
Madaba CDD cadres controlled the blaze and prevented it from spreading to nearby agricultural fields, Madaba Civil Defence Department Director Lt. Col. Ghassan Khatatbeh said.
