AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Sunday warned against dealing with companies that claim to facilitate loans from banks, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The companies deceive residents by claiming that they are capable of facilitating loans with un-refundable commission, Petra reported, quoting a CBJ statement.
CBJ stressed that the only safe and legal method to obtain a loan is through direct contact with banks, noting that Jordan has 25 banks, of which four are Islamic banks.
