CBJ warns against fraudulent ‘get rich quick’ companies

AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Wednesday warned the public of dealing with companies that claim the possibility of depositing savings and doubling money in short periods to avoid falling victims of fraud and losing money.
The CBJ said that this warning followed several advertisements from such companies claiming that the public can invest and receive big profits within short periods, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
