Bahrain commends ‘deep-rooted’ ties with Jordan on its national day

AMMAN — Jordanian-Bahraini relations are “deep-rooted and solid”, Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Bin Yousef Al Ruwai said on Tuesday.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on the occasion of Bahrain’s national day, Ruwai referred to the similar views between the countries on various regional and international issues, expressing appreciation for the Kingdom to facilitate the return of over 647 Bahraini students to their country upon the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the economic level, the ambassador said that Bahrain’s imports from Jordan last year stood at $54 million, while Bahraini exports to the Kingdom amounted to some $41 million.
