AREC chief, Tunisian ambassador discuss cooperation in renewable energy sector

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC) Mohammad Al Taani and Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khaled Al Suhaili on Wednesday met over enhancing cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, smart networks, smart cities and electric vehicles, in addition to Tunisia's membership in the commission.
The diplomat lauded the Jordanian-Tunisian cooperation in various fields, highlighting the ongoing and growing cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also emphasised the importance of Tunisia’s membership in the AREC, which opens access to the two countries' experiences in the field of renewable energy. Taani praised the progress Tunisia is witnessing in various fields, mainly renewable energy, highlighting the importance of optimising these experiences in boosting Arab economies.
