Abdoun Towers, Golden Gate projects inaugurated

AMMAN — President of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee Yousef Shawarbeh on Friday laid the cornerstones of the "Abdoun Towers" and the "Golden Gate" projects, worth JD90 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Abdoun Towers project, estimated at a cost of JD50 million, will consist of two 15-storey towers, on an area of 45,000sqm, whichwill be used as housing units.
In addition to the 15 storeys, each tower will comprise eight apartments with an area of 70-100sqm. The towers will also have parking lots, markets and other services.
The locally financed project is expected to be completed in two to three years.
Shawarbeh also placed the cornerstone of the Golden Gate project in Um Uthainah, worth JD40 million.
He highlighted the attracting investing environment of Amman, noting that GAM adopts a policy to remove any obstacles investors may face.
The official added that the projects will add to Amman's distinctive features that attract investors, and provide residents and visitors with all the available requirements with a diversity in housing, shopping facilities, entertainment and job opportunities.
The Golden Gate building consist of a number of storeys and three vaults that contain shops, supermarkets, restaurants, terraces, and 140 parking units.
