30 participants graduate from date palm service and breeding training

AMMAN — Director of the Jordan Valley Agricultural Research Centre Adel Al Abed presided over the graduation of 30 participants from a training course on date palm service and breeding operations, which was organised by the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) in cooperation with the Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association (JAEA) in Deir Alla, according to a NARC statement.
This course aims at qualifying and training agricultural engineers in agricultural operations, in order to boost their competency in utilising scientific research outputs, and transferring their expertise and technology skills to farmers.
Mohamed Tawalbeh, secretary of board of the JAEA, said in the statement that such courses contribute to engineers’ qualifications by increasing their knowledge in field applications, to raise their level of professional work.
