Youth exchange programme with Germany to start by end of August

AMMAN — A youth exchange programme with Germany will launch its 12th edition at the end of August to enhance dialogue between the younger generation of Germany and Jordan, a German-Jordanian Society statement said.
A group of 16 young Jordanians, aged between 19 and 26, will arrive in Munich on August 30 for a 10-day visit to Bavaria and Germany.
In addition to visits to historical landmarks, the programme will also include numerous thematic discussions focusing on the current transformation process in the Arab societies, and the worldwide refugee problem to boost the exchange of opinions, the statement said.
