Women represent majority of Civil Service Bureau applicants

AMMAN — The total number of applicants to the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) is estimated at 393,951, with women representing 74.8 per cent of the total, the bureau said on Sunday.
President of the CSB Sameh Nasser during a press conference said that the CSB has recently received new applications from 37,186 individuals, among which 33,365 are university degree holders, 3,822 are community college graduates and 67 have technical diploma certificates.
University degree holders represent 85 per cent of the overall applicants, while the remaining 15 per cent are two-year diploma holders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
