Water theft cases reported in Maan, Irbid

AMMAN — The Ministry of Water, in coordination with the Public Security Directorate, on Wednesday responded to the violations on the main water pipelines feeding Maan's Al Hashmieh and Huseinieh regions, which had illegally provided water to farms, brick factories and a restaurant. 

According to a ministry statement on Thursday, the ministry also conducted a campaign in Irbid, which resulted in detecting violations on three main water pipelines, in which water was siphoned off to water tankers. 

All illegal fixtures were removed and relevant reports were made on these violations.
