AMMAN — The weather is forecast to be warm around the Kingdom today with hot temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba and north-westerly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Metrological Department (JMD) said on Wednesday.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be relatively hot on mountains and in valleys, and hot around the Kingdom with north-westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD reported, warning about the dangers of staying in the sun for long durations on Friday, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
As for Saturday, mercury levels are forecast to drop with clouds appearing on different altitudes with north-westerly moderate to brisk winds.
The temperatures in Amman will see a high of 32 Celsius today and a low of 21 at night, while on Friday temperatures are expected to be between 34 and 23 degrees and on Saturday between 32 and 21 degrees.
In Aqaba, temperatures are forecast to range between 40 and 26 degrees on Thursday, 42 and 28 on Friday and 40 and 26 again on Saturday.
