Vehicle clearances at Zarqa Free Zone witness 39% rise following easing of curfew

AMMAN — Clearance of vehicles at the Zarqa Free Zone grew by 39 per cent after curfew measures were eased, the Jordan Free Zones Investment Commission (JFZIA) announced on Thursday.
JFZIA President Mohammad Bustanji, in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the free zone saw the clearance of 3,365 vehicles between May 10 and June 15, in comparison with 2,414 vehicles during the same period in 2019.
A total of 2,090 vehicles were cleared during the first half of June, he added.
