'Suspect in JD865,000 fraud case arrested'

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel have arrested a suspect in an alleged JD865, 000 fraud case in the capital, the Public Security Department (PSD) said on Saturday.
A man filed a complaint against four men who said they wanted to buy his villa and gave him a bad cheque, the PSD said in a statement. CID officers followed up on the incident and arrested one man who has a criminal record of 23 cases.
The suspect confessed to committing the fraud with three other partners.
Also on Saturday, the PSD said that CID personnel in Jerash arrested two suspects who confessed to dealing with fake dollars and gold.
