State Security Court continues trials of suspected IS members

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Monday postponed several hearings involving terror suspects.
The sentencing of a suspect who pleaded guilty to joining armed terrorist groups and illegally leaving and entering the Kingdom was postponed to next Monday, along with hearings in the trials of six other suspects charged with promoting, joining and recruiting people for the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group.
Also on Monday, the SSC held the first hearing in the trial of eight defendants charged with joining Hizbollah.
