Speaker meets with French envoy

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat on Monday discussed with French Ambassador to Amman Veronique Volan means of advancing bilateral ties in all fields.
Oddat expressed appreciation of France’s supportive stances towards Jordan, noting that Paris is a key partner in the war against terrorism, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The French diplomat reiterated her country’s full support for the Kingdom, stressing that Jordan’s security and stability is a main pillar of regional stability, highlighting that Jordan and France see eye to eye on various regional and international issues, according to Petra.
