Shbeeb calls for ensuring aviation safety

AMMAN — Transport Minister Lina Shbeeb on Thursday called for maintaining the highest degrees of aviation safety in Jordanian airports and skies.
During a visit to the aerial navigation department and aerial control tower at the Queen Alia International Airport, she voiced appreciation for the professional and technical levels of the employees and the facilities.
Jawdat Baqaeen, deputy president of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), reviewed the tasks of CARC, noting that it undertakes a monitory role and offers services to ensure aviation safety at an annual cost of JD11 million.
