Senior officials meet with British delegation

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Monday met with a delegation from the British House of Commons comprising members of the Council for the Advancement of Arab-British Understanding and the All Party Parliamentary Jordan Group headed by Deputy Crispin Blunt.

Planning Minister Ibrahim Saif and Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh also met separately with the delegates.

Discussions during the meetings covered bilateral ties, regional developments, the war against terrorism, the Syrian crisis, the Palestinian issue, conditions in Iraq, and Israeli attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

The delegates commended the Kingdom’s efforts to reach regional peace and stability.
