Senate president, speaker mourn passing of former senator Hikmat

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Sunday mourned the passing of former senator Taher Hikmat. Fayez also paid tribute to the former senator’s great efforts in serving the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
“The country has lost one of its loyal men who left a great mark on developing the Jordanian judicial system and establishing the Constitutional Court,” the Senate president said, extending his condolences to the Hikmat family.
Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat also took to twitter to mourn Hikmat, praising his contributions in serving the homeland and his achievements in the posts he held, Petra added.
